For those of you who have been around the web for a while you may remember the brassworld.co.uk website. This site was up and running between 1999 & 2001 and had a lot of free downloads (created by myself!!).
Back then the web was much younger and free music was not widely available. The Brassworld site was an attempt to address this and to provide some free solo and ensemble resources for brass players. Among the arrangements were those from my fellow founder members of the Capital Brass Quintet.
Unfortunately changes in employment left me with no time to maintain this site (doh!) and the domain name (the .co.uk bit) expired. I”ve kept and eye out for the last couple of years to see if the name became available again but alas no.
My regret is that this site did (and still does) get thousands of hits every month. I”ve therefore resurrected the site (albeit under a slightly different domain – brassworld.net). The appearance will seem a bit dated but all the resources that were there in 2001 are back for all to use.
So the new (slightly old looking
) site will be located at www.brassworld.net. It will be a couple of weeks until I can bring the code up to date (so please bear with me) but hopefully it will be as useful/popular as it was in the past.
